Pro AIX combines the efforts of intelligent operating system software monitoring with a local engineer who is already familiar with the configuration of your ERP and IT systems.

 

How it Works

Pro AIX’s remote monitoring service will continuously check the pulse of your AIX system and keep watch over 17 critical items. Server uptime will be maximized. When your server presents a problem, E&A Managed Services professionals can help resolve the issue, allowing your staff to focus on revenue-generating activities instead of routine technical problems.

Pro AIX manages your AIX operating system, reviews the current status of your system, identifies potential issues and makes corrections and adjustments to avoid major issues.

Pro AIX clients receive monthly system status reports providing meaningful information that describes the performance of your information technology (IT) assets and status of your backup efforts.

Feature/Functionality

  • Monitoring and Trend Reports: Features rich reporting for RS errors, file system free space, paging space, disk space utilization, nightly backups, and operating system backup
  • Server Care: Servers are monitored for various parameters such as CPU, memory, disk, device failure monitoring, event log information, critical processes, services, threshold checking and system error logging. Log files are kept for all system activity and email notifications are sent automatically to warn of existing problems or potential shortfalls.
  • Backups: An extensive module is dedicated to reporting and monitoring backups for issues such as failed and completed jobs and verification of daily backups including operating system backups
  • Remote Control and Administration: Performed by E&A engineers when required, which is automatically audited and reported for control purposes
  • Patch Management: Ensures the most up-to-date patches are applied for your operating system level
